Foundation Programme

A one-year route preparing students for UK universities

The Foundation Programme (FP) at DLD College London is a one-year route that prepares students for entry to UK universities. We are a co-educational, independent day and boarding school in Central London, and the Foundation Programme bridges the gap between overseas education systems and the demands of UK higher education.

Students develop subject knowledge, academic English and the study skills that universities expect. Small class sizes and a student-centred approach help students adapt quickly and progress with confidence.

What the programme covers

The Foundation Programme combines academic subjects with the study and language skills needed for undergraduate study in the UK. Students follow a pathway aligned to their intended degree, so learning stays focused and relevant to their university goals. Subjects we offer include:

“DLD exceeded my expectations and it is great for Art students. If you want to study Art, access great facilities and teaching, and experiment with lots of different creative processes, DLD will give you a great experience.”
