Senior School

DLD College London senior school educates students aged 13 to 16 through Year 9, GCSE programmes and vocational BTEC options. We are a co-educational, independent day and boarding school in Central London, and our senior school gives younger students a confident, well supported start before they move into the sixth form.

Our approach is student-centred, friendly and flexible. Small class sizes mean teachers know every student as an individual, and we build each pathway around ability, interests and ambitions. From the first term, students are encouraged to take responsibility for their own progress in a warm and structured environment.

Who is the Senior School for?

The senior school welcomes students who are ready to study in the heart of London, whether they join us as day students or as boarders. We are the only school in Central London with on-campus boarding, and our community brings together more than 60 nationalities, so students learn alongside peers from many different backgrounds.

Academic Journey

Senior school pathways

Students can begin in Year 9 as a foundation for GCSE study, then progress through our two year GCSE programmes, which also includes BTEC Awards. For students who learn best through practical, applied study, vocational BTEC options sit alongside traditional GCSE subjects. Modern subjects such as esports, media and business feature in our wider offer.

Support that helps students thrive

Every senior school student benefits from study skills teaching, careers guidance and academic support. This helps students build strong habits early, make informed choices about their next steps and prepare for the demands of sixth form study.
