our voices
One of my many favourite things about studying at DLD is the amazing people I have met throughout my journey - not only students but also teachers.
Olivia British – A Level Student
I chose DLD because of the location in the heart of London and the good facilities they have.
Arian British – A Level Student
DLD has enhanced my critical thinking and analytical skills through my A-Level studies which will be key for my studies in an Ivy League setting.
Afa Azerbaijani – A Level Student
DLD has definitely opened my eyes to how the world really is and prepared me for university life.
James British – A Level Student
I've had an extraordinary boarding experience. The coolest thing about boarding is that you probably have 15 to 20 different nationalities...
Rehaan Mauritian – Foundation Programme Student
My highlight at DLD has been the cultural diversity. I feel like every day you're learning something new.
Bevelyn Ghanaian – A Level Student
The experience has been quite fun, actually. I've met so many new people. I've learned so much from my teachers and from the people I've met.
Shawna Nigerian – A Level
I chose DLD because of its facilities and location. I think it's really great to be in the centre of London. The facilities at DLD are incredible.
Sofia Mexican – A Level Student
As an art student, I would say that DLD has the best inks, the best canvases, the best brushes that a student could have.
Matin Iranian – A Level Student
One of the best things here is the music rooms in the basement. I usually go there. We can play piano, guitars and join the school band.
Mark Russian – A Level Student
I was in a boarding school before, but when I came to DLD, I experienced a different type of boarding system. I had more support and also more freedom
Sina Iranian – Foundation Programme Student
The main reason why I chose DLD is because of the location. It’s really convenient, you can go everywhere as you’re in the centre of the city…
Sofiya Russian – A Level Student
I’d rate the teaching a ten! Honestly, the teachers are so readily available to help you. There's so many resources like clinics after school...
Ornela British – A Level Student
The teaching here is phenomenal. The teachers are very helpful, very hands-on, and they make sure that we get everything done in time for exams...
Nicol Albanian – A Level Student
DLD is located in the centre of London so I get to see how the things I’m learning about are applied…we get to go out and experience things...
